Security Perfection.

We are happy to register on your behalf security documents and advise on the propriety of any securities that may be necessary for the various lending transactions you enter into with your clients. We have a deep understanding of Uganda’s laws relating to securities, mortgages, and charges, and shall be able to register any appropriate securities for you as requested, including (but not limited to): 
a) Mortgages on land, 
b) Registering Caveats & Transfer of Motor Vehicles & Motorcycles Logbooks 
c) Transfer of motor 
d) Fixed or Floating charges, 
e) Deeds of Assignment, 
f) Trust Deeds, Debentures, 
g) Sale and Purchase Arrangements.

We also conduct vehicle searches and transfers as well as register chattel mortgages on all manner of assets including but not limited to motor vehicles. We always work proactively to ensure that the securities are registered in a timely and efficient manner. Our timelines for registration of security documents range from Two (2) to five (5) days. The actual delivery time is affected by: 
(i) the nature and complexity of the transaction; 
(ii) the time taken by the client in the execution of the deeds prepared.

Advocacy, Litigation, and Arbitration.

The firm represents the best client's interests in major civil litigation throughout Uganda. In addition to counselling on alternative techniques of dispute resolution, the firm has the capacity to litigate a wide range of matters such as real estate issues, cor- porate disputes, and trademark infringements. Shareholder disputes, Intellectual property and passing off, and Employment litigation among others. The firm prepares all necessary pleadings, affidavits, depositions, and Court Order.

Debt recovery services.

Our specialist debt recovery division offers a full range of contentious and non-contentious debt recovery solutions to the banking and finance industry including but not limited to; debt recovery for creditors, credit worthiness analysis on behalf of intend- ing creditors, bad debtor tracking and property searches, debt negotiation and sched- ule management for debtors. We offer full professionalism and transparency in the pursuit of a client’s case and keep our clients up-to-date with respect to the progress in the pursuit of their debt recovery cases and supply them with a detailed analysis of any recovery action under- taken on their behalf at review meetings. This enables the client and ourselves to re-visit current collection strategies to either re-affirm them or adapt the strategy in consultation with the client in light of any man- agement information that we provide. This includes advising the Board of Directors on our company secretarial competencies, board liability, board recruit- ment and remuneration, development of corporate governance policies and regula- tions, board evaluation as well as various conflicts of interests. We are also company secretaries with competency to assist the company secretary do the following:
